LLR Partners announced that Gregory M. Case has joined the firm as a Partner. Leveraging over 20 years of experience investing in and providing strategic guidance to growth companies, Case will work closely with LLR to continue to grow the firm and its successful middle market investment focus.
“I am very excited to be joining LLR Partners,” says Case. “I have worked closely with the team at LLR evaluating and investing in successful middle market growth companies and have seen first hand their ability to create and add value in their portfolio. I look forward to contributing to their service-oriented culture and the expertise LLR delivers to growing companies.”
Case spent 16 years at Apax Partners, a global private equity firm. He most recently served as a General Partner at Apax, leading the firm’s U.S. financial and business services group, and focusing on growth capital and buyout opportunities in enterprise software, technology-enabled business services, business-process outsourcing and internet-based direct marketing. Investments in which he played an active role for Apax have included Bluestone Software, CML, Planview, Princeton Softech, Realpage and Web Clients.
“LLR has built a successful track record of investments across many services industries, with information technology and business services as two important areas of focus,” says Mitchell Hollin, Partner at LLR Partners. “As we invest our $800 million third fund, we welcome Greg as our Partner and expect his business acumen and experience to contribute to the growth of our firm.”
Case is a magna cum laude graduate of Middlebury College and holds an MBA in finance from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
