A cause I am passionate about is food insecurity, which is why I think LLR’s work with Philabundance is so important and why I try to get involved with similar organizations in my local Boston community.

Biography

As a member of LLR’s Value Creation Team, Sarah champions the strategic planning process and use of a consistent, data driven approach across our portfolio companies. She works collaboratively with LLR’s investment teams and portfolio company leadership to develop and refine each company’s strategy, including defining key strategic initiatives and incorporating M&A into the strategic plan to support accelerated growth.

Sarah joined LLR from Ascend Learning where she was Senior Director of Strategy and responsible for providing strategic direction for organic and inorganic growth across Ascend and all of the businesses within its portfolio, including designing and driving the annual strategic planning process.

Prior to Ascend Learning, Sarah spent nearly 10 years in management consulting, including seven at L.E.K. Consulting where she honed her strategic acumen. While at L.E.K., she helped clients navigate complex strategic issues and led teams in the development of impactful and actionable recommendations. Her work at L.E.K. was focused on growth strategy and transaction support projects for private equity and corporate clients across a wide range of industries.
