Geoff Baird Joins LLR Partners to Lead its Value Creation Team

LLR Partners today announced the addition of Geoff Baird as Senior Managing Director of the firm’s Value Creation Team. Baird leverages extensive experience leading and driving all aspects of growth for technology and services businesses to support LLR’s portfolio companies and manage the LLR Value Creation Team.

“I fundamentally believe that bringing world class knowledge and best practices to growth stage companies in a structured way can have a meaningful impact on their value,” commented Baird. “LLR shares that vision and has purpose built its value creation capabilities over the last several years to carry it out. I am excited to lead the firm in growing its Value Creation Team and expanding the resources we offer in areas like Sales, Marketing and Strategy.”

Prior to joining LLR, Baird was an operating executive at Tailwind Capital where he assisted in sourcing, evaluating and performing due diligence on investment opportunities. He served as a board member and active advisor to Tailwind portfolio companies Stratix Corporation (Chairman), Diversified, AST and CoreBTS. In addition, Baird has been a board director at WorldAware, an LLR portfolio company, since 2015.

Baird’s leadership background is highlighted by several executive roles in the mobile, Internet of Things (IoT) and communications sectors. He previously served as President of the Product & Technology Group at AGT International, CEO of 3i-MIND, and Vice President and General Manager at Avaya. Earlier in his career, Baird was the CEO of mobile technology firms Commtag and Xtempus, and COO of Psion Computing.
