Geoforce, a leading provider of asset tracking and management solutions for industrial end-markets, has announced the acquisition of Temeda, a comprehensive industrial equipment tracking and vehicle telematics platform provider. This move not only increases its customer footprint but also gives Geoforce access to a network of channel partners as well as expanded product capabilities.
The software’s key telematics features include equipment location and engine data management, as well as vehicle tracking and driver safety monitoring. In 2022, Temeda launched the Ascend platform which also provides advanced features that include route optimization, fuel card management and proactive video-based driver risk detection.
Temeda has built a strong reputation in providing innovative equipment tracking and monitoring solutions to industrial markets such as oil and gas, construction, mining, and rail. Much like Geoforce, the company has focused on delivering reliable, high-quality services that cater to the unique needs of these industries. Temeda offers a white-labeled solution to an established network of distribution partners across the United States, including a major network carrier and its customers. By joining forces, Geoforce and Temeda will combine their expertise and resources to offer an unparalleled range of solutions to an even broader customer base.
“We are excited to welcome Temeda into the Geoforce family,” said James MacLean, CEO of Geoforce. “This acquisition is a natural fit for our growth strategy as it not only expands our reach into critical industrial markets but also strengthens our ability to provide best-in-class equipment tracking and monitoring solutions. Both Geoforce and Temeda share a commitment to innovation and customer service, and together, we will continue to lead the industry in providing cutting-edge solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers. Offering a complete set of field equipment tracking and OEM technologies positions us to help our reseller partners and direct customers address even more operational challenges, including preventive maintenance, equipment safety compliance and cost control.”
