October 27, 2026
LLR has been named to Inc.’s 2026 Founder-Friendly Investors list for the eighth consecutive year. The list recognizes investors and firms committed to partnership, excellence and helping founder-led companies grow. To compile the list, Inc. went directly to the founders who completed questionnaires about their experiences partnering with firms and shared data on how their companies have performed during these partnerships. In the spirit of learning from founders themselves, Scott Ogle and Richard Graham, Co-Founders of LLR portfolio company TruTechnologies, recently shared four lessons from their experience choosing a private equity partner. Consideration for the Inc. 2026 Founder-Friendly Investors list required the submission of an online application which includes references from founders of one or more portfolio companies, and total application fees of less than $4,000 which LLR paid to submit its application for this award. Private equity and venture capital firms that have exited U.S.-based, founder-led, portfolio companies are eligible to apply. Portfolio companies can be either public or private. Honorees were chosen by Inc. based on an internal application review process which is further highlighted on their website here: FAQs.
