LLR’s 2014 CEO Summit Focuses on Talent Management

November 11, 2014

LLR Partners’ annual CEO Summit brings together executives from the LLR portfolio to discuss key topics that impact their growth. For the past two years, talent management has been the focus of the event, providing expert perspectives on team building and allowing peer-to-peer sharing of strategies, tactics and personal experiences.

The 2013 summit focused on driving organizational success by building and leading the right team. This year’s event, held October 30, 2014 with more than 25 executive attendees, addressed another common business challenge – hiring mistakes and how to avoid them.

The meeting featured Randy Street, ghSMART Managing Partner and co-author of the best selling book, “Who.” ghSMART is a management assessment firm with expertise in human behavior that helps CEOs and investors build valuable companies. Randy led an interactive discussion on “PWR,” emphasizing the power of leadership and performance improvements when driven by clear priorities, human capital and a focus on relationships. A workshop followed on proven hiring and topgrading methodologies used by leading companies around the world.

The summit also featured a lunchtime keynote on cyber security by LLR Senior Operating Advisor, Gus Hunt, former Chief Technology Officer of the CIA. Gus offered a forward leaning look at major technology trends and their shifts and impacts on business, privacy and the market.

LLR’s full team of Senior Operating Advisors were on hand to help facilitate the discussions around talent and to share knowledge with the group on growth strategies, based on their deep operating experience and industry-specific expertise.
