2021 Private Equity Case Competition

LLR Partners, a Philadelphia-based private equity firm with more than $5 billion of committed capital, is hosting a virtual Private Equity Case Competition for college sophomores. Teams of four students will compete in two rounds:

  • Round 1: Identify a prospective take-private company and submit a 1-2 page executive summary on the investment thesis. Case prompt provided January 8, 2021 with submissions due January 15, 2021.
  • Round 2: Construct an investment thesis and build a financial model for an LLR portfolio company and present to LLR leadership and company management live via Zoom. Materials provided January 18, 2021 with final presentations scheduled for January 28 or 29, 2021.
  • Additional competition details and directions to be provided upon application acceptance

How to Apply:

Students may apply as a team of four or as individuals and be placed into teams. Sophomores only, please. Apply by January 3, 2021 by emailing casecompetition@llrpartners.com with the following:

  • Individual or Team resumes (if applying as a team, include all applicants in one email)
  • How you heard about the case competition (i.e., name of school club, Handshake, word of mouth, etc.)
