Biography

As a member of the Value Creation Team, Matt leverages his 20 years of experience in finance, strategy and M&A to support LLR’s portfolio companies in executing revenue growth initiatives, driving operational improvements and pursuing strategic expansions.

Prior to rejoining LLR, Matt was Chief Financial Officer at Avenues: The World School, a global network of independent schools serving nursery to 12th grade students. At Avenues, he led the finance, accounting and strategy functions until its acquisition by Nord Anglia Education in 2023. Prior to becoming CFO, Matt also served as Vice President of Finance & Strategy, where he led the company’s global expansion efforts. Matt previously worked at LLR as a Vice President, focusing primarily on investments in the education sector. Earlier in his career, Matt worked in investment banking at Stifel Nicolaus and Legg Mason Capital Markets.
